A man was sent to the hospital being stabbed by his roommate, according to officials.

Police were sent to the 1500 block of Tri Park Way in Grand Chute for a disturbance at an apartment.

When they arrived, they found a 31-year-old man unconscious with multiple stab wounds. He was transported to the hospital for his injuries.

A preliminary investigation showed that the incident started over one roommate making noise while others were trying to sleep. Police say the dispute then turned physical between the victim and a 23-year-old man.

The 23-year-old was arrested and officials say they are seeking charges of recklessly endangering safety with a weapon and disorderly.

The investigation is ongoing.
