Man Dead, Two Others Injured in Marinette County Crash

One man is dead and two others have suffered life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Marinette County.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the crash happened at around 1 p.m. Tuesday on state highway 180 near Wausaukee. A 43-year-old man from Wausaukee was driving southbound in an SUV when he crossed the center-line, leading to a collision with a truck traveling northbound.

The driver of the truck  — a 74-year-old man from Pembine — was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger — a 73-year-old woman also from Pembine — and the driver of the SUV have been taken to the hospital.
