Manitowoc Police Search for a Dog that Bit a Woman

The Manitowoc Police Department is searching for a dog that bit a woman around 6:00 pm Sunday. 

Officials responded the the 2000 block of Washington Street. 

The dog fled the area in an unknown direction, and has not been located. 

The dog is described as medium size and was possibly black with some white on it. 

Since the vaccination of the dog for rabies is unknown, the woman was treated at a local hospital for possible exposure to rabies.
