Manitowoc Police Search for Stabbing Suspect

Police are searching for a woman who allegedly stabbed a man during a domestic dispute Tuesday evening in Manitowoc, according to the Manitowoc Police Department. 

The suspect has been identified as Jasmine Walker, but she has not been located. There is no reason to believe the community is in danger, according to police.

Officers were called to Holy Family Memorial Medical Center around 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 15.  A man was brought to the emergency room with a single stab wound to his torso area.  He is expected to survive, according to police. 

A witness told police that there was domestic dispute between a man and woman who live together on the south side of Manitowoc. During the dispute, the woman allegedly stabbed the man with a large folding knife. The woman helped get the man to the hospital but she then left before officers arrived, police.

Once the female suspect is located, she will be taken into custody on charges of Substantial Battery/Domestic Violence related, police said.
