According to officials, Brent Recla, 38, of Vulcan, MI, passed away from injuries he experienced in a crash on April 13.

The one-vehicle crash occurred just after midnight. Recla’s reportedly ran a stop sign at Highway 141, crashing his pickup truck through highway signs.

The truck came to a stop in an embankment on the west side of the highway.
