Marinette County Sheriff’s Office releases name of 25-year-old man who died in crash Friday

MARINETTE COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV)

The name of a man who died in an automobile crash in Marinette County Friday night has been released.

The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Ryker J. Plosczynski of Wausaukee died in the crash.

Friday afternoon, Marinette County Dispatch received a call of a crash on Highway 141 near E. 26th road in the town of Beaver. Plosczynski’s vehicle was traveling northbound on the highway, when it crossed the center line and struck two vehicles head-on that were driving southbound. Plosczynski became trapped in his vehicle and died at the scene. The two occupants of the southbound vehicle had to be extricated from the vehicle, and appeared to have critical injuries.. There were three occupants in another southbound vehicle that was also struck, of which two were injured. The extent of their injuries is not known.

The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate the incident.
