Marshfield Man Accused of Throwing Live Puppies in Garbage Can

Local News

A 56-year-old man is facing misdemeanor charges after police found a garbage bag full of puppies.

Marshfield police arrested Robert Wild on Suspicion of Mistreatment of Animals and Abandonment of Animals.

Officers found the newborn puppies after receiving a complaint of kitten noises coming from a trash can. Authorities believe wild owned the puppies, which are thankfully alive.

They’re now at an area pet shelter, where they are doing well and will likely go up for adoption in the coming months.
