Mayor Hanna gives update on Appleton construction projects

Local News

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) The city is going to have a busy couple of months coming up with dozens of parades and events scheduled throughout the spring and summer.

However, from College Avenue to parking ramps and other things, there’s quite a bit of construction going on.

“This is all part of a plan that we adopted and put together I think two or three years ago. We called it our mobility plan,” said Appleton Mayor Tim Hanna during his Community Update on Local 5 This Morning. “This is the execution of that plan, a lot of these pieces being put into place. It makes it a little bit easier to get around town, no more one-way streets when we’re done with this.”

Hanna also gave an update on the U.S. Venture headquarters. Click the video above to see hiw full Community Update.
