Medication Take-Back and Equipment Drive

Area residents will have the opportunity to safely dispose of unneeded medications and/or donate home medical equipment and supplies.

Residents can dispose the medications at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center on Saturday, April 28.

The Medication Take-Back and Medical Equipment Drive will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Officials tell Local 5 News the Items will be collected near the Emergency Department entrance of the hospital, located at 1726 Shawano Avenue in Green Bay. 

Officials say items must be clean and in good condition 

Medication Take-Back:  

Prescription and over-the-counter medications accepted  

Cross out identifying information on the containers 3 

Liquid medications should be kept in the original bottle, then placed in plastic bags  

Items that contain mercury, syringes, needles, non-medical inhalers and medications from organizations and businesses will not be accepted  

Medical Equipment Donations:  

Crutches and slings  




Dressing, gauze and tap 

Canes and other types of home medical equipment and supplies 

Hygiene kit supplies including hand towels, washcloths, bar soap, combs, toothbrushes and toothpaste
