UPDATE: Positive identification of human remains found on Menominee Indian Reservation made

(WFRV) – A positive identification has been made on the human remains found on the Menominee Indian Reservation last week Wednesday, the 17th.

According to the Menominee Tribal Police, the remains have been identified as missing person Katelyn Kelly. Kelley was reported missing on June 18, 2020 and was last seen during the night of June 16 and early morning June 17.

The investigation into Kelley’s death is ongoing at this time.

(WFRV) – The Menominee Tribal Police has released preliminary information regarding an active investigation.

The Tribal Police and FBI are currently investigating the recovery of human remains on the Menominee Indian Reservation.

The area is not being identified at this time but admittance to the area isn’t allowed until they are finished processing the scene.
