Multiple Appleton Businesses Receive Bomb Threats

Thursday afternoon, multiple businesses in Appleton received bomb threats via email.

Four businesses in the city received the threats within a short time of each other.

The emails were all similar, in which they demanded bitcoins.

The Appleton Police Department has been informed that these types of threats/scams have been received by businesses in every state across the country.
