November 15th, America Recycles Day is the only nationally recognized day dedicated towards encouraging Americans to recycle, and buy recycled products. Thousands of events are also held across the country on this day to raise awareness about the importance of recycling.

Across the nation, people are increasingly focused on “going green,” and living sustainably. According to the EPA, the national recycling rate is 34 percent, a rate that has steadily increased over the past three decades.
