Perry Sook, Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Nexstar Media Group Inc. announced it is acquiring Tribune Media. A transaction valued at $6.4 billion.
The proposed transaction will combine two of the leading local media companies with national coverage and will reach approximately 39% of U.S. television households.
The transaction is expected to close in the late third quarter of 2019.
