No one was injured in an overnight fire in downtown Manitowoc.

Officials say the call came in at around 3:00 a.m. when a woman woke up to flames in the closet of her apartment above Stockpile Games on 8th Street.

Firefighters were concerned about the weather causing the fire to spread quickly, but that turned out to be a non issue.

Firefighters were reportedly able to extinguish the blaze in about ten minutes. Officials say the apartment suffered minimal smoke and water damage, but that in its current state, the apartment is not habitable.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and there is currently no damage estimate.
