Nobody Injured in Green Bay House Fire

Nobody was hurt after a house caught fire just before 4:00 Saturday afternoon.

The Green Bay Fire Department responded to a home on South Ashland Avenue for reports of smoke and flames. 

Upon arrival, officials found the fire near a bedroom window air conditioning unit. 

One person was home at the time of the fire but was able to get out safely. 

The Red Cross is currently assisting those living in the house. 

Damages are estimated at ten thousand dollars. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
