Forty-seven percent of the U.S. Labor Force is made up of women and Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College hopes that continues to grow that number.
The college took time Wednesday to introduce middle school girls to STEM careers. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Girls In Trades is an annual program that brings in 200 hundred young girls to rotate through a variety of STEM career stations.
Many students we talked to said they are happy to know they have a variety of career options.
