The officer that shot and killed the Antigo prom shooter has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
Langlade County Special Prosecutor Galen Bayne-Allison made the ruling Thursday. The Wisconsin Department of Justice also released their findings and videos from the investigation.
The shooting happened on April 23 when 18-year-old Jakob Wagner shot two people at the prom.
Officer Andrew Hopfensperger returned fire at Wagner. He was shot three times.
Wagner was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died at 1:06 a.m. after doctors attempted lifesaving measures.
The two victims have since recovered.
