One man is dead and two others injured after a car veered off the road and hit a home in the Town of Red Springs.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s office says it happened Thursday night around 10:45 pm at the intersection of CTH-G and Geider Road.
Police say the car failed to negotiate an intersection, hit a utility pole, an embankment, and eventually a home. The 31-year-old man was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The 30-year-old woman was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The house was occupied at the time of the crash, and a man inside was injured. He was treated at the scene. The home did suffer damage from the crash.
Police say the intersection was closed for several hours, and the crash remains under investigation.
