Local News

Oshkosh Corporation is celebrating its 100th year in business in 2017. The event celebrates 100 years of making a difference in people’s lives around the world.

To commemorate this milestone, the company will host a community parade and open house on Saturday, July 15.

The anniversary parade will feature more than 60 products in the Oshkosh Corporation family. These products include some of the company’s first innovations, including Old Betsy, built in 1917. It will also feature its newest innovation, the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle. The parade will feature members of the UW-Madison Marching Band, dancers from the Oshkosh community and much more.

The open house will feature product rides, static vehicle displays, vehicle demonstrations, children’s activities, historic memorabilia on display, a merchandise offering and more. Admission is $1.00 or a canned food donation, which will benefit local charities.

The 100 Year Anniversary Parade will begin on 20th Avenue, just east of Knapp Street in Oshkosh. It will end at Hughes Street. The parade will begin at 10AM and end at 11AM.
