Oshkosh Police Investigating 3 Assaults Near Campus

Oshkosh and Green Bay police arrested two men yesterday around 2:00 p.m. in Green Bay.

The 18 and 20-year-old men are suspected to be involved with a series of assaults that occurred last weekend in Oshkosh.

The assaults, believed by police to be random, happened early Saturday morning between the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Wisconsin Street.

Police say the suspects are in custody, but the investigation is still ongoing.

The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating a series of early morning assaults near campus.

The Police Department says three assaults happened between between 1:14  and 1:45 Saturday morning within a one block radius of the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Wisconsin Street.

Police say in all 3 incidents the victims were approached by a group of three to five African American males, and were punched multiple times in the face. One of the victim said that his wallet was taken. 

The victims are three men and one woman between the ages of 20 to 22. 

Police believes all three assaults are related.

There are no suspects in custody.
