Oshkosh teen hospitalized after being hit by two vehicles

An Oshkosh teenager is recovering from head and torso injuries after she was hit by two vehicles Monday afternoon. 

The accident happened near Witzel Avenue and Westbrook Drive in Oshkosh. 

A witness told police that the 15-year-old was was crossing Witzel Avenue in the crosswalk when she was hit by a car traveling east. This caused her to be thrown and hit by another truck heading westbound. 

The teen was transported to the hospital in critical condition. As of Tuesday morning, she was said to be stabilized and recovering in the hospital. 

Neither driver was injured, and police say that they have not yet issued any citations.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
