The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame announced today on the Packers website that they will be inducting Ryan Longwell and Mark Tauscher into the Hall of Fame at the 48th induction banquet on Saturday, July 21st.

Ryan Longwell was claimed of waivers form the San Francisco 49ers in 1997.  Over his nine seasons with the Pack he scored 1,054 points, the most in Packer history.  Longwell still holds Packers records for most consecutive games scoring, with 144 games, and most consecutive PATs made, with 156.  He is currently ranked No. 13 on the NFL’s all-time scoring list, with 1,687 career points.

Mark Tauscher played in 134 games with 132 starts during his 11-year Packers career.  Mark was part of a formidable offensive line that paved the way for club records in rushing (2,558 yards) and average per carry (5.0), and a franchise record for fewest sacks allowed (14) in 2004.

The banquet will start with a cash bar at 4:30 and the program will begin at 7:00.  The program is still being finalized.
