The Green Bay Packers are hosting their Give Back Community Blood Drive Monday, May 7, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Legends Club Room at Lambeau Field.  Suggested entry points are the American Family Insurance Gate, Miller Lite Gate, or Oneida Nation Gate. Free parking is available.

May is Trauma Awareness month and the Red Cross urges eligible donors to give blood to help ensure a sufficient supply of blood is available for patient emergencies. Each year, traumas account for 41 million emergency department visits and 2.3 million hospital admissions across the nation, according to the National Trauma Institute. A person involved in a car accident may need as many as 100 units of blood.  The Red Cross needs donors of all blood types to help ensure a sufficient supply for patients this spring.

All presenting donors will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win prizes from the Packers and receive a free giveaway item, while supplies last.
