(WFRV) FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Fond du Lac police are investigating the death of an infant.
On Wednesday, November 8 at about 3:20 p.m., Fond du Lac Police along with Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the 100 block of East 2nd Street for a report that a baby who was not breathing and did not have a pulse.
Police and Fire Department paramedics arrived on the scene and immediately began providing life-saving measures to the infant, according to police.
The three-month-old female infant was transported to St. Agnes Hospital where the child was pronounced dead, police said.
No further information is being released at this time pending the outcome of the autopsy and investigation.
