GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Green Bay police have canceled the search for the third suspect believed to be involved in the fatal shooting that took place on Green Bay’s westside in February.
According to the Green Bay Police Department, 41-year-old Jeromy Finke was located and taken into custody on Thursday.
This incident remains under investigation at this time. Local 5 will continue to update this story as it progresses.
UPDATE: Man GB Police is looking for believed to be homeless

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The person of interest that the Green Bay Police Department is looking for in relation to the shooting incident at a local Walgreens is believed to be homeless.
The Green Bay Police Department tells Local 5 that Jeromy Finke is believed to be homeless in the area. Authorities also said that Finke is a ‘person of interest’ and they just want to talk to him about the incident.
Lt. Clint Beghun mentioned that they believe Finke was there during the incident. Anyone with info is asked to call the Green Bay Police at 920-448-3000.

UPDATE: Man shot at GB Walgreens dies, suspect at large ID’d

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Green Bay police have released more information on all three suspects involved in the shooting outside of a local Walgreens on Friday afternoon.
According to the Green Bay Police Department, the 31-year-old Green Bay man who was shot during the altercation and taken to the hospital has died from his injuries.
The suspect who police speculate may have shot the 31-year-old man, was identified as being a 15-year-old teen from Milwaukee. The suspect was taken to secure detention.
Authorities confirmed that the third suspect, who remains at large, is 41-year-old Jeromy Finke. Finke is described as having a tattoo below his right eye that can be viewed in the photo below.

Police believe Finke may have been armed with a knife during the incident and are now asking the public not to approach him but to instead contact the Green Bay Police Department at 920-448-3208 reference case 22-208468 or call 911 if they have information about his location.

UPDATE: Lockdown lifted at GB schools after area shooting incident

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Multiple Green Bay schools are no longer on lockdown after a shooting incident took place outside of a local Walgreens on Friday.
Green Bay Police Department’s Captain Ben Allen, spoke with Local 5 on Friday and confirmed that at around 1 p.m. police responded to a disturbance involving three people outside of a Walgreens located at the corner of West Mason Street and Oneida Street.
Shortly after the initial report came in, Capt. Allen said the severity of the situation upgraded after police learned that shots had been fired.
Police confirmed that one of the three suspects involved in the incident was shot and is currently receiving medical attention at a local hospital.
The suspect that police believe was the shooter was taken into custody at the scene, according to Capt. Allen. The third suspect is still at large. Police are actively searching for this suspect.
Additionally, because of the strong winds, some of the bullets fired during the incident hit the windows of the Autozone located across the street. No one near or in the Autozone store was reported injured.
Police are asking that anyone who may have seen something from 1 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in this area reach out to the Green Bay police department at (920) 448-3200.
“We are willing to talk to anyone and everyone that may have been a witness to the incident,” shared Captain Allen.
UPDATE: GB Police searching for suspect involved in shooting incident, schools in lockdown

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Green Bay Police are looking for a suspect that is believed to be involved in a shooting incident that has local schools in lockdown.
The Green Bay Police Department is currently on the scene in the area of Oneida Street and West Mason Street for a shooting incident. Authorities say that three people are involved.
One is in custody, one is being actively searched by officers and K9s, and the third one was located at a hospital with injuries. Officials suspect that the injuries that happened were a result of this incident.
Local schools in the area are in lockdown as a safety precaution. The incident is still under investigation, and more updates will be provided.

ORIGINAL: Police presence near middle school in Green Bay, crime tape at Walgreens

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Multiple police vehicles are near Franklin Middle School in Green Bay.
Local 5 has a crew near the scene, and they say the K9 units are out. In addition to the K9 units, an ambulance has arrived at the scene. There is crime tape at the Walgreens located at the intersection of Oneida Street and Mason Street.
Back in Sept. 2021, the Green Bay Police Department was investigating a possible child enticement incident at that same Walgreens.
Local 5’s crew says there is about a block radius set up by authorities. Franklin Middle School is located at 1233 Lore Lane.
