UPDATE: Police have arrested two suspects who were booked into the Outagamie County jail in connection with a murder that happened on the 600 block of South Olson on Sunday afternoon.

19-year-old Trevor Teela was arrested and police are recommending charges of first degree intentional homicide and intent to deliver marijuana.

In addition, 17-year-old Elian Coronado is facing possible charges of possession of a firearm by a felon as well as intent to deliver marijuana.

The Grand Chute Police department believes that the public is safe and that this is an isolated incident, however they say the investigation is on going.

“Investigators learned that three males were involved, obviously the male victim and two others were in a verbal argument that turned physical, however investigators are looking into what lead to the shooting,” said Grand Chute Police Officer Travis Waas.

Police are asking the public if they have any information that would help their investigation to contact the Grand Chute Police Department, the two suspects will have their initial court appearance late this week.


Police have confirmed that two teenagers have been arrested in connection with Sunday’s shooting.

Police say they arrived on scene at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday to find a deceased Appleton man with a gunshot wound.

The victim’s name is not being released until family can be notified.

Two males, a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old have since been taken into custody. Both are Grand Chute residents.

The two are expected to make their initial appearances in Outagamie County Court later this week on charges related to the homicide.

Police say the incident appears to have began with a verbal dispute between the three that turned physical.

The shooting in Grand Chute is confirmed deadly.


A shooting is confirmed in the 600 block of South Olson Avenue in Appleton.

Sgt. Angela Owens with the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to WFRV that a call came in around 4:24 PM Sunday that someone had been shot.

Owens was able to confirm that the shooting did happen, but was unable to specify the condition of the victim.

It happened near 630 South Olson Avenue, which is in Grand Chute.

Officials say to stay clear of the area. Information on the suspect(s) was not provided.
