Members of the Preble High School Marching Band took to the track Sunday morning to rehearse their upcoming performance in New York City’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The parade is about a mile and a half long, and will take about 45 minutes to complete.
Megan Sweeney, the director of bands at Preble High School told Local Five that this parade is the longest the band has ever done.
She said that endurance training will be key for the student musicians.
The band will leave for the parade on Thursday, and are looking forward to sightseeing while visiting the city.
