Public Involvement Meeting for Possible Road Construction in Calumet Co.

The Wisconsin DOT Northeast Region has announced a public involvement meeting for proposed work in Calumet County.
The proposed work is on WIS 114/55 from US 10 in the Village of Harrison to the south junction of the WIS 114/55 split in the Village of Sherwood.
Reconditioning-level improvement is proposed for WIS 114/55 from US 10 to Castle Drive, a resurfacing-level improvement is proposed from Castle Drive to the south junction split. Other proposed work includes intersection and roadway geometric improvements, shoulder widening, rumble strips, curb ramp improvements and other curb and gutter repair. 
The meeting will be held Monday, April 8th from 5 to 6:30 pm at the Village of Sherwood Community Center in Sherwood. There will be a short presentation at 5:15 pm following by an open house meeting format. 
Work is currently scheduled for 2023 but may take place as early as 2022.
