Heavy rainfall Friday morning has resulted in standing water levels throughout Calumet County that have submerged fields and spilled out onto streets.
Hilbert saw some of the highest water levels, with the rainfall even causing a train to derail near the intersection of Hilbert and Riemer Road.
In Brillion, the greens of the Deer Run Golf Course are covered in water, with the owner telling Local 5 he expects the course to be closed for the forseeable future.
And in Stockbridge, County Road E was closed down between Highway 55 and Highway 57 due to the high water levels.
Calumet County Sheriff’s officials are urging that anyone driving in the area do so with caution.
