LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. - Trigger Actions Sports teamed up with Fox Valley Metro Police Department, the Little Chute Fire Department and members of our Armed Forces for a special R.E.D. cook-out to give back to our Armed Forces.
Representatives for each department were on hand from 11am - 1pm for the public to meet and to create a sense of community.
“Our Armed Forces fight for our freedom every day. We feel that RED Friday is a great way for our troops to know how much we appreciate them and what they do for us. Our hope is the word of this event may spread so that we can fill up a truckload of donations for our deployed troops”, says George Butz Jr, of Trigger Action Sports.
“We’re asking for people to stop by during this time…have some lunch…and talk with our representatives. We’ll be handing out bags to everyone so they can fill with donations that we can send to our troops. These bags can be dropped off any time during business hours at Trigger Actions Sports”, says Butz Jr.
Here’s a list of donations: Baby wipes, Feminine Hygiene Products, Foot Powder, Razors (disposable), Tylenol (individual packets), Beef Jerky, Gum, Granola Bars, Candy, Batteries, and Playing Cards.
Trigger Action Sports hopes to continue hosting R.E.D. events every other Friday.
