The Salvation Army kicked off their 2017 Christmas Campaign at Bay Park Square Mall Monday morning. The program helps thousands of families with Christmas gifts, food, and other types of assistance each year. The success of the campaign is led by the thousands of volunteers who ring bells at the Salvation Army’s signature red kettles. Those stations will be set up at more than 35 businesses throughout the Green Bay area this year.
The event also launched the new “Text To Give” campaign, which provides donors the opportunity to make donations from any location via text message from their mobile device.
