Local News

Appleton (WFRV) Saving Paws Animal Rescue in Appleton needs your help to save the lives of homeless animals.

So far this year they have adopted out a record 453 cats and dogs.
But that takes money and generous donations.

Their Holiday Miracle Event is the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
There is a buffet, games, music, dancing and lots of great auction items.
And all the money is used to care for homeless animals until they find their forever home.

Saving paws currently has 21 dogs available for adoption including– 4 month old apricot who was rescued from texas.

The Holiday Miracle Fundraiser is Saturday, November 4th at Tanners Bar and Grill in Kimberly.

Local 5’s Chelly Boutott will be the night’s emcee.
