SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WFRV) – The Sheboygan Police Department is asking the community to avoid driving due to the damages from Wednesday’s storm.

According to officers, numerous trees, branches, and electrical wires are down.

Motorists are asked to avoid driving if possible and to be aware of traffic lights not working properly.

The Sheboygan Police Department said it responded to over 60 calls for service in less than two hours. The calls included fire alarms, wires down and others.

The department said it normally takes anywhere from 15 to 25 calls on a typical day.
