Approximately one month after filing for bankruptcy, Shopko is now making cuts at their store support center.

The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development reports that 140 workers from their Ashwaubenon center will be laid off starting April 8. The types and number of positions that will be affected has yet to be determined.

Shopko has also announced the closing of over 40 of its stores in Wisconsin, including its orginal location in Green Bay on Military Avenue. Most of the stores will begin to close in either April or May of 2019.
