Silver Alert cancelled, missing Appleton man found safe

UPDATE: Authorities say Bruce Belongia is safe and at home.

Authorities need your help locating a missing man believed to have a cognitive impairment.

64-year-old Bruce Belongia was last seen in Appleton between 3-4PM Tuesday.

He’s 5’10” and approximately 175 pounds.

Police say he was wearing a brown jacket with a hood, tan pants, a black baseball cap and Green Bay Packers slip on shoes.

He has a military tattoo on his right bicep and has scruffy facial hair.

Bruce is believed to be in a 2008 silver Volkswagen Jetta, license plate number 550-SWS.

The car has a missing outside cover on the driver’s side mirror.

Bruce told his relatives that he was going to a storage unit in Kaukauna.

He frequents casinos, taverns and has on occasion stopped at park and ride areas to rest in his car.
