Sketch Released of Suspect in Abduction Attempt Near St. Norbert Campus

De Pere Police have released a composite sketch of a man suspected in an abduction attempt near the St. Norbert campus.

(STORY OF WOMAN WHO ESCAPED ABDUCTION ATTEMPT)

Police describe the suspect as a 5’8″ Hispanic man in his 20’s with a medium build, broad shoulders, and short black spiked hair.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a Hispanic man in his 30’s with longed slicked-back black hair.

ACCOUNT OF EVENTS ACCORDING TO DE PERE POLICE

De Pere Police are investigating a reported assault that occurred in the 800 block of 3rd street, near the St. Norbert College Campus during the early morning hours of Friday, September 14th.

The female victim reported that she was walking in the 800 block of 3rd street shortly after 3am.

An older dark colored vehicle, possibly a van, approached her location and a male passenger attempted to speak with her.

As she continued walking the male passenger exited the vehicle and grabbed onto her.

A struggle ensued and she was able to break free and go to a residence to call police.
