Something Contagious Is Spreading In Green Bay…Kindness

Local News

Sullivan Elementary School in Green Bay is spreading something that’s becoming contagious—kindness.

In celebration of Kindness Week, Sullivan Elementary let Local 5 in on a secret, but we had to keep it.

At 2:40 p.m., the school had planned a surprise event for Principal Peggy Fisher.

As Principal Fisher walked to the school’s gymnasium for a top-secret presentation, she was greeted by students and staff alike lining the halls and cheering her on.

The kids she watches over and the staff she leads made a video and scrapbook showing just how much they all appreciate her.

Students also participated in a poster contest and in “Mix It Up Day” where classrooms mixed up their students and learned together.

After the events of the day, Local 5 caught up to Principal Fisher,

Our goal is to bring the community together where everyone feels accepted and loved and cared for and that’s what Sullivan is

The positive vibes, however, aren’t limited to those inside Sullivan’s walls.

On March 15th from 6 – 7:30 p.m. families will be invited to The Sullivan Family Kindness Night, an evening event focused around kindness to minds, bodies, and to others.
