The Southern Door County School District is hosting several open houses to answer questions about two upcoming referendum questions.
The first referendum question is a $6.2 million proposal for security upgrades, remodeling the elementary and middle schools, and addressing any infrastructure needs. The second question is a proposal to exceed the revenue limit for the next school year by $450,000. The school district will hold two town halls this Thursday, with the first one at 6 p.m. at the Clay Banks Town Hall, and the second at 7 p.m. at the elementary and middle school cafeteria.
The referendums will be voted on during next month’s election on November 6.
