A statewide tornado drill that was scheduled for Thursday has been moved to Friday, April 12th.
This is the first part of Severe Weather Awareness Week.
The drills provide an opportunity for the public to prepare themselves in the event of an actual severe weather situation.
There will be one drill at 1:45 pm and another at 6:45 pm.
According to the National Weather Service, Wisconsin averages 23 tornados annually, 33 were confirmed last year.
