Sturgeon Bay Lawmaker Named to Cabinet Position

Governor-elect Tony Evers has named two Democratic lawmakers to his cabinet, including a Door County State Senator.  Evers named State Senator Caleb Frostman of Sturgeon Bay as Secretary of the Department of Workforce Development. He also named State Representative Peter Barca of Kenosha as Secretary of the Department of Revenue.

The Wisconsin State AFL-CIO announced support of Governor-elect Tony Evers’ appointment of Caleb Frostman as Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.

We look forward to working with Caleb Frostman to grow our economy and strengthen our middle class by lifting up working people in every sector of our economy,” said Stephanie Bloomingdale, President of the Wisconsin AFL-CIO. “Caleb Frostman is an excellent choice by Gov.-elect Tony Evers. Frostman has the experience and skills necessary to lead the Department of Workforce Development. We look forward to working with Secretary Frostman and the Department of Workforce Development to make life better for every working man and woman in Wisconsin by expanding good economic opportunities throughout our state.”
