Suspect in custody in Green Bay stabbing

A Green Bay man is in the hospital after being stabbed by a person he knew.

The Green Bay Police Department say that a 34-year-old man from the area was stabbed at around 3:30 PM Thursday afternoon on Humboldt Road.

Shortly after, police arrested a 26-year-old suspect for the stabbing. That man is also from Green Bay.

The 26-year-old was taken to jail on suspicion of attempted reckless homicide and recklessly endangering safety.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown.

Officers continue to investigate, but did mention the suspect and victim knew one another.
