Teams hit the water Sunday to compete in the Sikaflex Boat-Building Challenge and race as part of Maritime week in Sturgeon Bay.
The festival began Friday where teams were given four hours to build their boats.
The boats are built using three sheets of thin plywood and one by two’s.
Teams also pick their themes and they ranged from Batman to My Little Pony.
Teams then earn points for how fast they build their boat, and they raced them one at a time against the clock, Sunday.
Once the race is complete, it’s an all out sea battle to be the last boat afloat.
All the money raised goes to support the Door County Maritime Museum.
