The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign has only six days left

Only a few days remain in the annual Christmas Campaign and The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay’s Red Kettles are well behind their 2017 fundraising goal. As of December 13 the kettles have raised $148,237, just 39 percent of the $375,000 goal. 

Each year the Christmas Campaign accounts for nearly half of The Salvation Army’s revenue source. 
Families who receive seasonal and year-round services rely on the success of the Red Kettles to support programs that help meet their basic needs. Last year, 16,000 people were provided with basic needs services, 14,000 bags of groceries were distributed, 30,000 hot meals were prepared and nearly 30,000 received a warm place to stay.   

The Greater Green Bay community understands the importance of a last-minute drive and The Salvation Army is depending on their support. 

To date, the campaign has raised $570,622, or 52 percent of the $1.1 million goal through various fundraising initiatives, including the Red Kettles. 

The Red Kettles are stationed at numerous store fronts through December 23. There are multiple ways to make change in addition to Red Kettle donations:
