Tips From Aurora BayCare to Prevent Colorectal Cancer

Colorectal cancer will impact about 140,000 people in the U.S. this year, and it’s the 3rd most diagnosed cancer among both men and women. However, there are many ways to prevent it from happening, and dozens of signs and symptoms to be aware of.

Dr. Mitchell Manthey, gastroenterologist with Aurora BayCare Medical Center, stopped by Local 5 This Morning to talk about what things you should be looking out for, why and when you should get checked out by your doctor, and how serious the cancer can get if you don’t take the right steps to prevent it early on.
