Truck driver cited for failing to stop after hitting school bus

VILLAGE OF HOBART, Wis. (WFRV) — No one was seriously injured after a truck crashed into a school bus.

According to Lt. Dan Van Lanen of the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department, the crash happened around 3:50 p.m. when a truck going east on CTH VV (Triangle Drive) went through a stop sign and hit a school bus going north on CTH U (Country Line Road). 

There were 6 children on board, none of them were injured. The bus driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

The driver of the truck was not injured and was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.
