Two suspects are in custody, and the name of the victim has been released after a body was found near Clintonville.

They are Adam Ozuna and Zachary Hohn.

The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department and the district attorney plan to issue a news release and criminal complaint in the death of a man whose body was found Monday morning.

The sheriff’s department has confirmed that the victim is Matthew Pagel.

Pagel was beat by the two suspects while meeting with them to buy adderall.

But according to the criminal complaint, their plan all along was to rob Pagel.

Both made an initial appearance in Waupaca county court this afternoon.

They’re charged with robbery with use of force and first degree intentional homicide-party to a crime.

Ozuna and Hohn picked up Pagel from his hotel room. While Ozuna drove he ordered Hohn, who was in the back seat to hit Pagel .

The car stopped when Ozuna yelled “knife”, Hohn then held Pagel down as Ozuna struck Pagel repeatedly until Pagel  was barely gurgling. They dumped Pagel’s body in a ditch and returned to the home they shared in Bear Creek.

They explained what happened to Hohn’s girlfriend and her  mother, who were at the house. Both went to Airport road and checked things out.

Hohn’s girlfriend was the one who alerted police to Pagel’s body.

Police were led to that house by an anonymous call and tips on social media.

Investigators say Hohn and Ozuna had done similar robberies in the past, but not as violent.

The brutal attack netted Pagel’s  jacket and two hundred dollars cash.

Both Ozuna and Hohn are being held on 500-thousand dollars bail.

Their next court date is set for april 19th.
