Two people have been arrested for allegedly using heroin while on the road during the snow storm Monday.

Ashwaubenon Public Safety says around 3:20 p.m., they responded to Ashland Avenue near Baeten Road for a pickup truck in a ditch.

Officers found Jessie House, 27, of Hobart, without a pulse and not breathing and a bystander was performing CPR on him in some deep snow. An officer took over doing CPR until EMS arrived.

Meanwhile Molly Schlichting, 29, of Keshena, was in the truck and was not responsive. That’s when police learned that the two had been using heroin.

The man was arrested for OWI, 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Possession of Heroin, and a Probation/Parole Warrant.

The woman was arrested for Possession of Heroin and 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.

The two are in the Brown County Jail waiting for their initial appearances on the felony charges.
