Two brothers were arrested in Green Bay on Friday for their role in a homicide case out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Detectives with the Phoenix Police Department advised Green Bay Police that they had probable cause to arrest a suspect in the case, and had reason to believe that one of the men might be headed to a residential address in Green Bay.
The Detectives requested the assistance of the Green Bay Police Department in attempting to verify the male was still at the residence, and to provide surveillance of the residence until they could arrive in Green Bay.
The Green Bay Police Department Investigative Division and Community Police Officers provided resources to assist with surveilling the residence and attempting to locate the suspect and the suspect vehicle. US Marshalls in Wisconsin also arrived to assist.
During the operation, a man was found in the residence that matched the physical description and photograph of the suspect provided by the Phoenix Police Department. The U.S. Marshalls then executed an arrest warrant from the Phoenix Police Department, while members of the Green Bay Police Department maintained an outer perimeter.
The male was taken into custody without incident. The brother of the suspect was also arrested for his role in the homicide.
Green Bay Police then assisted with obtaining a search warrant for the residence and the vehicle used by the male. Those searches located additional evidence of the crime.
Police say one of the suspects is a juvenile, but both are in custody for warrants issued by the State of Arizona and are expected to be extradited back to Arizona to face charges of First Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, Kidnapping and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
