Two Oshkosh Police Dragged by Car during Traffic Stop

Two Oshkosh Police Officers were making a routine traffic stop on Doty Street, near 17th Avenue, at about 3:37 this afternoon when a 26 year old woman, who gave a false name, tried to drive away. 

She dragged the officers with her car, while one officer was able to get away, the driver accelerated towards him, hitting him with her car. 

The driver struck a home and a front porch, exited the vehicle and ran away. 

She was apprehended and is facing charges of recklessly endangering safety, kidnapping and battery to law enforcement officers. 

The officers involved received minor injuries. Doty Street was temporarily closed during the investigation.
