SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) — Shawano and Stockbridge-Munsee Police brought two people into custody following a report of a stabbing.
Officials say they responded to a reported stabbing around 12:51 p.m. on Sunday, May 19 at a residence on National Guard Road in the Town of Bartelme, on the Stockbridge-Munsee Reservation.
A 29-year-old woman was transported by ambulance to the ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano. Authorities say her injuries were not life-threatening.
A 46-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were taken into custody in the Village of Bowler on charges in connection with the case.
The Stockbridge-Munsee Police Department is continuing to investigate and charges will be forwarded to the Shawano-Menominee County District Attorney’s Office.
